My interest in photography started at an early age when film was the norm and  would buy a few books and magazines to read and study, the first camera i bought was a secondhand pentax spotmatic  but later a nikon f3 until the digital scene when i purchased my first digital camera the Fuji S3 pro, this was great because it had a nikon f mount and i could use my lenses on both cameras. Getting more interested in digital i began to experiment a little and in 2006 saw my first attempt published in the Amateur Photographer Magazine with favourable comments from fleet street journalist and critic Mike Maloney. In 2016/17 i joined the Ipswich and district photographic society and early 2018 had the privilege to join the SCP Group, met with some great people and inspiring photographers. I enjoy what digital has to offer and experimenting in all types of photography and hopefully for a few more years to come.
